Erick joined the board at the ACLU of Maine in 2020. He is a citizen of the Mvskoke (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma from the Rekackv (Broken Arrow) Tribal Town and the Katcv (Big Cat/Tiger/Panther) Clan.
He is an attorney at the law firm Drummond Woodsum in Portland. He advises Native American governments and their enterprises on a wide range of policy and economic development matters, including land use, gaming, and tax issues. His past experience includes working for the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and as a city planner for several municipalities in Oklahoma, Montana, New Hampshire, and Maine. Erick is a former member of the Iroquois Lacrosse Team.
