PORTLAND – Portland Mayor Michael Brennan will be joined by leaders in the faith, business and immigrant communities at a press conference this FridayJanuary 24 at 9:30 a.m. at Portland City Hall, to call on the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to reject a proposed rule change that would deny General Assistance (GA) to asylum seekers and other immigrants.
