Grandparent ban struck down 

This week, a judge from Hawaii dealt another blow to the Trump administration's Muslim ban by expanding the definition of close familial relationship. A few days later the Supreme Court upheld the ruling on grandparents while knocking down another part of the judge's ruling.  Meanwhile, the Trump administration is finding other creative ways to enforce their Muslim ban.

Lepage changes tune on Narcan 

This week Lepage admitted that Narcan is an important tool in saving lives and fighting the opiod epidemic in Maine. This is encouraging news from the governor, but much more needs to happen in order to solve this issue in Maine. 

Sessions makes property seizures easier

Attornery General Jeff Session reversed Obama administration rules that helped combat police abuse. Sessions just made it easier for police to seize property and money from people who are not even convicted of a crime.
