Meghan Ginzer joined the ACLU of Maine board of directors in 2024. With a work history centered in public defense and helping victims of domestic violence, Meghan came to the ACLU of Maine with a strong understanding of the critical importance of civil rights and liberties. She serves on the board's Governance Committee.
Meghan currently works for a Maine legal organization providing direct legal services to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violance. Prior to that, she worked as Assistant Public Defender in Florida, representing indigent individuals in the criminal justice system.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys spending time with family, being near the ocean, and spending her winter weekends on the ski slopes.
